Showroom Manager
Sales & Customer Experience
- Drive sales across all product categories (Home, Office, Kitchen, Doors & Wardrobes) and ensure achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual targets
- Identify customer needs and provide personalized solutions for furniture and design requirements
- Ensure a superior customer journey by training staff in consultative selling and customer engagement techniques
- Maintain relationships with key clients, architects, and interior designers to encourage repeat business
- Address and resolve customer complaints or queries in a timely and professional manner
- Ensure all quotations and sales proposals are reviewed for accuracy before sharing with customers
Showroom Operations & Visual Merchandising
- Oversee daily operations of the showroom to ensure cleanliness, organization, and an inviting environment
- Ensure proper display and placement of products according to visual merchandising guidelines across all categories
- Implement company SOPs, sales processes, and retail operational standards for efficient showroom functioning
- Monitor and manage showroom expenses, ensuring adherence to allocated budgets
- Coordinate team scheduling to maintain optimal staffing levels, especially during peak hours
Inventory & Supply Coordination
- Manage inventory levels and coordinate with the supply chain for timely stock replenishments
- Liaise with vendors to stay updated on new products, delivery timelines, and quality assurance
- Ensure showroom staff are trained to effectively demonstrate and explain product features to customers
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the showroom team to achieve individual and collective performance goals
- Conduct ongoing product knowledge training, especially on new materials, designs, and innovations
- Promote a performance-driven culture while fostering a collaborative and customer-focused environment
Analytics, Reporting & Strategy
- Track daily sales, customer footfall, and conversion rates
- Analyze sales data to identify trends, successful strategies, and areas for improvement
- Conduct regular competitor benchmarking visits (at least once per quarter) and submit evaluation reports to management
- Collaborate with the marketing team to execute showroom campaigns and events aimed at increasing footfall
- Monitor market trends to propose competitive pricing and promotional strategies
Reporting & Communication
- Prepare and share daily/weekly/monthly sales and performance reports with senior management
- Maintain regular communication with internal departments (Marketing, Supply Chain, etc.) for cross-functional alignment
- Establish external contacts with vendors and partners as required
Requirements For Showroom Manager
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
- 5-7 years of relevant experience in retail/showroom sales, with at least 1-2 years in a leadership or supervisory role
- Experience in managing retail teams, customer service, and sales targets
- Industry-specific experience (e.g., furniture, construction, fashion, or automobiles) preferred
