Sales Development Representative

Our client, an executive-search firm based in the U.S., helps companies fill critical professional and leadership roles. They’ve made over 2,000 hires across these main sectors: life sciences, architecture, engineering, construction, banking, and corporate tax.

They build a bespoke target list for each search, personally engaging with high-calibre prospects who are often off the market. Their methodology involves strategic hiring advisory, market compensation reviews, and tailored interview processes to ensure successful placements.

Need to have qualifications:Sales Development Representative 

  • 1+ year of sales or business development experience, preferably in a high-call-volume environment (85+ calls per day)
  • 1+ year of using modern CRM
  • Great English communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Availability to work 9A – 5P EST

Nice to have:

  • Experience with recruiting or executive search.
  • Familiarity with LinkedIn for prospecting and using video DMs for outreach.
  • Background in industries like banking, construction, tax, or life sciences.

Other areas we’ll consider:

  • Comfort with cold calling, objection handling, and following scripts to qualify leads and engage decision-makers.
  • Understanding of CRM tools and sales pipelines with a willingness to manage a high number of open opportunities.
  • Strong soft skills, including communication, influence, and the ability to adapt to feedback and refine sales approaches.

Responsibilities For Sales Development Representative 

  • Conduct 85+ outbound calls daily to engage with decision-makers, qualify leads, and identify new business opportunities.
  • Manage a pipeline of 150+ new opportunities weekly, nurturing these through the sales process.
  • Execute a structured touch plan to maintain consistent follow-up with prospects, leading to conversion or event-driven outreach.
  • Achieve discovery call targets and actively participate in pre-discovery and discovery call scheduling.
  • Continuously improve sales techniques with coaching and feedback from senior team members.
