WordPress Developer/ Page Speed Optimization Specialist

We are looking for a talented WordPress Developer with a strong emphasis on Page Speed Optimization to join our team at Hashtag Media. This full-time, onsite role is based in Gulberg Greens, Islamabad, with working hours from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Saturday. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in improving website performance and loading speeds, along with expertise in building and maintaining WordPress sites using popular page builders such as Elementor, Divi, and WPBakery. Familiarity with Shopify is an added advantage. This position requires a detail-oriented professional who can create fast, responsive, and visually appealing websites while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:
– Perform comprehensive website audits and apply page speed optimization techniques including image compression, lazy loading, script optimization, and caching to enhance load times and overall site performance.
– Design, build, and redesign responsive, user-friendly WordPress websites using Elementor, Divi, WPBakery, and other widely used page builders.
– Monitor website performance through tools like Google PageSpeed Insights, Lighthouse, GTMetrix, and Pingdom, implementing recommendations to improve speed and usability.
– Work closely with SEO specialists, back-end developers, and graphic designers to ensure web pages are optimized for both performance and user experience.
– Continuously update and refine websites to keep pace with the latest performance trends, user expectations, and SEO best practices.
– Guarantee cross-platform compatibility by ensuring websites are responsive, fast, and function smoothly across different browsers and devices.

Required Qualifications:
– Demonstrated experience in page speed optimization with a strong portfolio showcasing successful performance enhancements.
– Proficiency in designing, building, and redesigning WordPress websites using Elementor, Divi, WPBakery, or similar builders.
– Ability to implement page speed improvements through both cache plugins and manual coding methods.
– Expertise in using performance analysis tools such as Google PageSpeed Insights, Lighthouse, GTMetrix, and Pingdom.
– Strong debugging skills to quickly identify and resolve performance-related issues.
– Excellent problem-solving capabilities with a keen eye for detail.
– Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate well within a multidisciplinary environment.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
