Role Overview:
- The Factory Manager is responsible for overseeing daily factory operations to ensure efficiency, productivity, safety, and product quality.
- Manage resources, optimize production processes, and lead the factory team to meet company goals and customer demands.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee production, maintenance, quality control, and logistics operations.
- Develop and implement production plans, scheduling, and shop-floor control to meet targets.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, GMP, SOPs, and environmental requirements.
- Manage factory budget and optimize operational costs and resource utilization.
- Lead, train, roster, and manage performance of factory staff; handle conflict resolution.
- Monitor production KPIs, prepare reports, and implement continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, 5S, etc.).
- Coordinate with procurement, supply chain, and vendors to ensure material availability and manage inventory.
- Troubleshoot common manufacturing and equipment issues; liaise with maintenance teams.
