Job Description
We are looking for a skilled SQA Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated test solutions for web and enterprise-level applications. The ideal candidate will work closely with developers, product owners, and manual QA teams to ensure high-quality, scalable, and reliable software delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain automation test frameworks for web and API testing.
Write and execute automated test scripts for functional, regression, and smoke testing.
Collaborate with developers and manual QA to understand requirements and test coverage.
Identify, report, and track bugs using defect management tools.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
Perform API testing and database validation.
Maintain test documentation, test plans, and reports.
Continuously improve test processes and automation standards.
Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
2–3 years of experience in SQA Automation.
Strong knowledge of automation tools such as:
Selenium / Playwright / Cypress.
TestNG / JUnit / NUnit.
Experience with API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured, etc.).
Familiarity with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Experience testing web applications (Angular/React preferred).
Basic knowledge of SQL and database testing.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have:
Experience with .NET Core and Angular applications.
Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter, k6).
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure).
Exposure to AI-based or autonomous testing tools (Anti-Gravity, similar tools).
Soft Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Attention to detail and quality-focused mindset.
