Part-Time Mobile App Developer (React Native / Expo)

Remote (Pakistan) | 20–25 hrs/week | PKR 50,000 – 55,000

About the Role

We’re building an AI-powered learning platform focused on delivering engaging, structured experiences for children through mobile. The product combines interactive exercises, audio-based learning, intelligent feedback systems, and LLM based conversations.

We’re now looking for a junior mobile developer for our team who can contribute to building and improving real product features - not just isolated screens.

This role is ideal for someone who wants to work on a real, evolving app, get international work exposure, understand how production systems are built, and grow quickly by working on meaningful features.

Tech Stack

You’ll be working within an existing system built with:

React Native (Expo)

TypeScript

Django REST APIs (backend)

Supabase (PostgreSQL)

Azure Speech + AI integrations

GitHub (version control & collaboration)

What You’ll Work On

Build and improve interactive learning experiences inside the app

Implement audio recording, playback, and response flows

Develop clean, reusable React Native components

Integrate APIs and handle data flow between frontend and backend

Improve UI/UX based on product feedback

Deliver testable mobile builds (APK) for real-device testing

Maintain structured, readable code within an existing codebase

What We’re Looking For

Experience with React Native (Expo preferred)

Comfortable using TypeScript

Understanding of component-based architecture

Experience working with REST APIs

Ability to work on existing codebases (not just from scratch)

Familiarity with testing apps on real devices

Experience with audio features (recording/playback)

Exposure to AI-powered or data-driven apps

Experience publishing apps to Play Store / App Store

Interest in building educational or child-focused products

Working Style

Remote, Pakistan-based

Part-time: 20–25 hours per week

6-month contract (with potential extension)

Flexible work hours, but consistent communication is expected

Compensation

PKR 50,000 – 55,000 per month

Based on experience and performance

Past React Native work (GitHub or live apps)

Ability to explain how you structure your code

Understanding of API integration

A short practical task

Ability to deliver a working mobile build
