A medium sized firm in Canada is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant with at least 1 to 2 years of experience to join our growing team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, assisting in daily accounting operations, and ensuring accuracy in financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain and update financial records and ledgers
• Handle accounts payable and receivable
• Prepare invoices, vouchers, and bank reconciliations
• Assist in monthly and yearly financial closing
• Monitor expenses and ensure compliance with company policies
• Support audits and prepare necessary documentation
• Assist in tax filings and regulatory compliance
Requirements:
• MUST be fluent in English
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum 1 year of relevant accounting experience
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Good communication and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work remotely and meet deadlines
Preferred Skills:
• Experience with accounting tools (e.g., Quick Books, Xero, or ERP systems)
• Understanding of Canadian accounting practices (preferred)
• Familiarity with canadian tax laws and regulations
Job Details:
Location:Johar Town Lahore, with the opportunity of remote work in the future
Working Hours: 6 pm to 3 am PKT
Salary (PKR 80,000 and up, negotiable)
