As a Patient Scheduling Coordinator at NexBridge BPO, you are the first point of contact between healthcare providers and their patients. You will play a critical role in our "Practice-to-Payment" (PTP) workflow by managing high-volume inbound and outbound calls, coordinating complex medical calendars, and ensuring a seamless entry point into the revenue cycle. Your goal is to maximize provider productivity while delivering exceptional patient service.
Key Responsibilities
Appointment Management: Schedule, reschedule, and cancel patient appointments using various Electronic Health Record (EHR) and Practice Management Systems.
Inbound/Outbound Calling: Handle a high volume of calls with professionalism, including patient inquiries, appointment reminders, and follow-up for "no-show" patients.
Data Entry & Verification: Accurately capture patient demographics, insurance information, and the reason for the visit to ensure clean claim submission later in the RCM process.
Provider Coordination: Manage multiple provider schedules across different time zones, ensuring internal protocols for appointment lengths and types are strictly followed.
Insurance Pre-Verification: Perform basic insurance eligibility checks to ensure the patient's coverage is active prior to the appointment.
Patient Education: Provide patients with necessary pre-appointment instructions (e.g., fasting requirements, arrival times, and required documentation).
