Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced animal doctor (veterinarian) to join our farm health team and support livestock, poultry and allied animal operations across the company’s farms in and around Jhelum. The role involves on-site clinical care, herd and flock health planning, disease surveillance and collaboration with cross-functional teams to improve animal welfare, production and traceability.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide routine and emergency clinical care for livestock and poultry, including diagnosis, medical treatment and surgical procedures as required.
- Develop and implement herd and flock health and vaccination programs, biosecurity protocols and parasite control strategies.
- Monitor animal welfare, nutrition and production parameters and advise farm managers on corrective actions to improve health and productivity.
- Lead disease surveillance, sample collection and liaison with diagnostic laboratories to confirm diagnoses and recommend treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate medical records, treatment logs and reports for regulatory compliance and traceability.
- Train farm staff on animal handling, humane restraint, first aid and basic health monitoring to reduce morbidity and mortality.
- Advise on breeding and reproduction management, pedigree record keeping and assist in improving genetic selection practices.
- Work with agronomy, irrigation and post-harvest teams to ensure integrated farm management practices that reduce disease risk and improve animal-product quality.
