DGTX Tax Consultancy, a Karachi-based accounting and tax advisory firm serving local and regional clients, is seeking an experienced Accountant to join our audit and compliance team.

Role Overview:

• Support audit assignments, financial reporting, and tax compliance for corporate and SME clients.
• Work from the Karachi office and collaborate closely with the Audit Manager and HR to coordinate interviews and assignment scheduling.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in planning and executing internal and external audit engagements, including test-of-controls and substantive testing.
• Prepare and review financial statements, working papers, and audit schedules in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
• Perform tax computations, prepare returns, and ensure compliance with federal and provincial tax regulations.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts, bank statements, and intercompany balances; identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Analyze financial transactions, prepare variance analyses, and support month-end and year-end close activities.
• Maintain client files, document audit findings, and assist in drafting management letters and recommendations.
• Support the Audit Manager during client meetings and ensure timely delivery of audit deliverables.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives and adhere to firm quality and documentation standards.

Work Arrangement:

• This is an on-site role based in Karachi.
• Applicants should be prepared to attend walk-in interviews at the Karachi office between 11:00 AM and 4:00 PM, Monday to Saturday. Candidates will be asked to confirm availability so HR can schedule meetings with the Audit Manager.
• The role requires attention to detail, integrity, and the ability to manage multiple engagements under deadlines.
