Key responsibilities include:
- Assist nurses and physicians with patient intake, vital signs measurement, basic wound care, and specimen collection.
- Prepare, label, and dispense medications under supervision; maintain pharmacy stock and ensure proper storage.
- Perform routine clinical procedures; maintain accurate patient records and update electronic or paper charts as required.
- Ensure infection-control standards; clean and prepare examination rooms and sterilize basic instruments.
- Support appointment scheduling, triage incoming patients, and communicate clearly with patients about basic instructions and follow-up.
- Monitor medical supplies inventory; place orders for consumables and reconcile stock with dispensary records.
- Participate in quality-assurance and safety audits and contribute to continuous-improvement initiatives.
