About Milltex Group

Milltex is a US-based apparel group with operations across the US and Pakistan. The group includes:

  • Milltex apparel wholesale and blanks sourcing
  • MTX Stitches embroidery and decoration services (the division hiring for this role)
  • RZ Outdoors licensed camo apparel retail

We serve US wholesale and retail customers with a focus on quality, repeatability, and on-time delivery. We run a modern operation: a custom in-house platform called Threadline powers our order management, sampling, costing, and supplier coordination so our merchandisers spend their time on judgment calls and client relationships, not chasing paperwork.

The Role

Milltex is hiring a Merchandiser for our MTX Stitches division to act as the link between our US operations team, internal merchandising team, and our embroidery supplier network. You will run embroidery orders end-to-end on Threadline costing, sampling, production tracking, and dispatch while staying current on US buyer preferences and pricing decoration accurately.

This role is primarily desk-based and remote. Field visits are rare; you will coordinate directly with suppliers and other merchandisers via Threadline, WhatsApp, and calls.

What You'll Do

  • Own orders on Threadline: Drive embroidery orders end-to-end intake, costing, PO, sampling, production tracking, QC sign-off, and dispatch.
  • Cost and quote accurately: Build decoration quotes based on stitch count, technique, thread color count, placement count, run size, and backing. Recommend chenille/applique vs. flat embroidery and price each correctly.
  • Read the US market: Stay current on what US buyers, brands, and decorators are asking for trending techniques, finishes, blanks, and price points; bring ideas back to the team.
  • Technique expertise: Advise on decoration approaches flat/direct embroidery, single-layer applique, double-layer (tackle twill) applique, 3D puff, chenille, patches (woven/PVC/leather/sublimated; sew-on/iron-on/velcro), and emerging techniques. Know tradeoffs in cost, lead time, durability, and aesthetics.
  • Supplier coordination: Brief suppliers, negotiate timelines and pricing, and ensure work meets specs. Build new supplier relationships as we scale.
  • Sampling and approvals: Coordinate digitizing, sew-outs, and pre-production samples. Review supplier-shared photos/videos and present them clearly to US decision-makers for approval.
  • Quality oversight (remote): Use supplier media and Threadline's QC workflow to catch issues before shipment stitch density, registration, color match, backing, and hand feel. Reject and rework items that do not meet spec.
  • Communication: Send clear daily updates to the US team and be available during US Eastern Time business hours (roughly 6:00 PM 3:00 AM Pakistan time, MondayFriday).

Why Join Us

  • Modern tooling: Threadline is purpose-built for our workflow no spreadsheets, no email chains, no chasing samples.
  • Direct US exposure: Daily interaction with US clients and decision-makers accelerated learning on US retail standards, pricing, and buyer expectations.
  • Real ownership: You will run your orders, build supplier relationships, and own your costing.
  • Growth path: Strong performers can grow into Senior Merchandiser, Account Manager, or Category Head roles.
  • Remote-first: Work from home; factory visits are optional.
  • Night shift allowance: Additional compensation for working US Eastern Time hours.
  • Competitive compensation: Market-competitive base plus performance bonus tied to on-time delivery, margin, and quality metrics.

How to Apply

Please submit the following items:

  • Updated CV (PDF)
  • A short paragraph (in English) describing one embroidery order or sample you worked on the brief, the technique chosen and why, and challenges encountered
  • Earliest available start date and expected monthly salary (PKR)

Shortlisted candidates will be invited for:

  • A 20-minute video interview in English
  • A practical assessment: you will receive an artwork file and brief recommend a technique, build a rough cost, and write a supplier brief
  • A final round with the US operations team
