Responsibilities include design, configuration, testing and commissioning of KNX installations, collaboration with installers and clients, and delivering integrated AV and home automation projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in designing KNX topology and device layouts for residential and small commercial projects.
- Develop and configure KNX logic using ETS or similar tools and write control scripts for touch panels and AV processors.
- Implement integrations between KNX, IP-based AV equipment, and third-party services (media servers, streaming devices, lighting and climate controls).
- Perform on-site commissioning, system testing, troubleshooting and defect resolution under supervision.
- Create and maintain system documentation, wiring diagrams, program backups and client handover instructions.
- Work with the installation team to ensure correct hardware deployment and cable management, and assist during client demonstrations and training.
- Participate in firmware updates, software maintenance and small custom development tasks to extend system capabilities.
