Primary responsibilities include:
- Process customer payments for vehicle sales, parts, accessories and service invoices using POS systems and company payment procedures.
- Reconcile daily cash drawer, card receipts and remittances; prepare and submit daily cash reports to finance.
- Verify invoices, receipts, pricing and discounts; ensure correct posting to customer accounts and coordinate with sales and service teams on discrepancies.
- Manage cash deposits and bank runs per policy; maintain secure handling and documentation of funds.
- Provide professional, courteous service at the cashier counter; handle customer queries about bills and payment options and escalate complex issues.
- Maintain accurate records and follow confidentiality and anti-fraud practices.
