Overview:
Originate Pakistan-related dry bulk commodity and shipping opportunities and convert market intelligence into commercial outcomes.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with buyers, suppliers, agents, brokers, port contacts, freight partners and other counterparties in the Pakistan market.
- Source leads, assess commercial value, prepare proposals, pricing and quotations, and negotiate terms to advance transactions.
- Coordinate with trading, chartering, operations, finance and logistics teams to support shipment and documentary execution.
- Support execution of trade documentation (letters of credit, shipping documents) and commercial terms (Incoterms, freight, laytime, demurrage, dispatch).
- Work to defined performance targets and KPI scorecards reviewed quarterly.
