We are an independent software company building AI-powered SaaS products for text, photo and video processing. We seek a Senior Full Stack Node.js Developer for a remote, freelance engagement supporting backend services, worker infrastructure and lightweight frontend. This is a remote position; candidate should be located in Pakistan (Karachi preferred).

Responsibilities:
- Design, implement and maintain Node.js/Express backend services and REST APIs, including routing, error handling and performance optimization.
- Develop and maintain PostgreSQL schema changes and migrations; write efficient queries and tune indexes.
- Implement and support background job queues and worker processes (job reliability, retry strategies, monitoring).
- Integrate and manage Redis for caching, pub/sub, rate limiting, or ephemeral state.
- Implement webhook-based payment integrations and provider routing for AI APIs with robust error handling and observability.
- Contribute to frontend work using Vanilla JS and Alpine.js for PWAs/lightweight UI.
- Follow Git/PR workflows with branch protection, code review best practices and a test-driven approach; maintain logging and error monitoring for production services.
