- Review prescriptions for accuracy, appropriateness, interactions, contraindications, and potential medication-related risks.
- Dispense and label medications in accordance with applicable Pakistani laws, professional standards, and established procedures.
- Provide clear counseling to patients on medication use, dosage, storage, side effects, and adherence.
- Coordinate with prescribers and care-team members to clarify prescriptions and support appropriate treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate prescription, dispensing, inventory, and controlled-medicine records while protecting patient confidentiality.
- Monitor stock levels, check expiry dates, and follow safe storage and handling requirements.
