Responsibilities
- Inspect, install, service, and repair commercial kitchen and laundry equipment, including ovens, ranges, dishwashers, washers, and dryers.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control-system faults using appropriate test equipment and technical documentation.
- Carry out preventive maintenance, cleaning, adjustments, and component replacement in line with equipment specifications.
- Respond to equipment breakdowns, identify root causes, and complete repairs safely and efficiently.
- Maintain service records, report parts requirements, and communicate equipment status and repair recommendations to supervisors.
- Follow workplace safety procedures and manufacturer guidance when handling tools, electrical systems, and equipment.
