Venture93 is seeking a skilled Web Designer/Developer with a strong emphasis on WordPress and Shopify platforms. This full-time role is based in Metropole, near Karachi Gymkhana, with working hours from 10 am to 6 pm, Monday through Friday. The ideal candidate will combine excellent front-end design capabilities with technical expertise to create and customize websites that are both visually appealing and user-friendly. A solid understanding of user experience and the ability to convert design mockups into effective, high-converting websites is essential for success in this position.

Key Responsibilities:
– Design and develop websites primarily using WordPress and Shopify, with occasional use of Webflow.
– Customize themes and build pages that follow modern UI/UX best practices.
– Translate brand identity and creative direction into engaging, cohesive web experiences.
– Collaborate closely with brand designers and copywriters to deliver complete web projects.
– Ensure websites are responsive, optimized for fast loading times, and adhere to SEO best practices.
– Troubleshoot and resolve bugs while maintaining existing websites to ensure smooth operation.

Required Qualifications:
– Proficiency in WordPress, including experience with Elementor, WPBakery, and custom theme development.
– Strong skills in Shopify development, including Liquid templating, Theme Editor, and page builders.
– Demonstrated visual design ability supported by a portfolio showcasing clean, modern, and user-friendly interfaces.
– Solid knowledge of HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript; familiarity with version control systems such as Git is a plus.
– Understanding of conversion optimization principles to improve website performance.
– Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects efficiently.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
– Minimum of 2 years of experience in web design and front-end development.
– Experience converting Figma designs into WordPress or Shopify websites.
– Comfortable using AI tools like ChatGPT or design generators to speed up development and testing.
– Competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs80,000 to Rs100,000.
– Candidates must be able to reliably commute to Karachi City or plan to relocate before starting.
– This is an on-site position based at the company’s office.
