Senior Shopify Developer

Techversol is looking for a skilled Shopify Expert to join our team and help build and manage high-performance Shopify stores tailored to client needs. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Shopify development along with a strong grasp of e-commerce best practices. In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver customized Shopify solutions that enhance business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and maintain custom Shopify stores that meet client and project requirements. Customize Shopify themes and templates to align with branding and functional specifications. Work alongside designers, front-end developers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of design and functionality. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to store performance, security, and third-party integrations. Implement essential e-commerce features such as payment gateways, custom apps, and external solutions. Optimize stores for speed, scalability, mobile responsiveness, and SEO best practices. Integrate Shopify with external systems like ERP or CRM to streamline workflows. Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance to ensure stability and functionality. Provide ongoing technical support and training to clients, content editors, and store owners. Stay updated on Shopify’s latest features, trends, and best practices to deliver effective solutions. Document all customizations, configurations, and processes for future reference.

Required Qualifications For Senior Shopify Developer
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience as a Shopify Developer or Expert, supported by a strong portfolio of Shopify stores. Proficiency in Shopify theme development, customization, and app integration. Solid knowledge of web development languages including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid (Shopify’s templating language). Experience with Shopify Plus and custom app development is a plus. Familiarity with database management systems, especially MySQL. Strong understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility. Experience integrating payment gateways and e-commerce solutions. Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and debugging skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Certification in Shopify development or related disciplines is advantageous. Experience with e-commerce SEO best practices and strategies. Proven ability to integrate third-party apps or custom-built solutions with Shopify. Contributions to open-source projects or a strong GitHub profile are considered a plus.

This is a full-time position based in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan, with work shifts available during the evening (3 PM – 12 AM) and night (7 PM – 4 AM). The salary range for this role is Rs75,000 to Rs100,000 per month. Candidates should be available to work the specified night shift if required.
